About the Author
Chris has attended the classes of many professional turners, but considers himself to be self-taught. He has enjoyed the craft for over 30 years and for the last 12 or so has specialised in salt and pepper mills and shakers. Since retiring from his career within the computer industry, Chris spends a lot of time in his workshop, has contributed many articles to Woodturning magazine and gives talks about his woodturning experience to social organisations. He lives in Romsey, Hampshire.

Great Basic Instruction Manual

Great instructions for all kinds of salt and pepper grinders. Would have liked more designs for the exterior but I really can do that myself when I know the required internal dimensions. I still waited for my grinder parts to ensure that their dimensions are the same as those in the book. I ordered the Crush Grind with a shaft. Don't know about the dimensions for the others. I recommend this book especially for those making their first grinders.

A good read for someone that is interested in turning salt & pepper mills

This book has a lot of information in it that will IMO, be very helpful to an individual that has an interest in turning these mills. As well as some design tips that would also help a more advanced craft person.

This book has a lot of helpful information about how to turn Pepper Mills. My equipment is all set up, so now I am getting started on the smaller projects, building confidence to tackle the really cool projects!
